Roebuck House is entering an exciting new chapter. Once a place of service under the care of the Sisters of Jesus and Mary, this historic property is set to be thoughtfully restored and transformed into a purpose-built hostel — a place that will offer safety, stability, and dignity to those who need it most.
With full planning permission secured, construction will begin shortly. By March 2027, Roebuck House will open its doors, continuing its legacy of compassion and providing meaningful support to the community it has long served.
The new hostel will feature 24 private ensuite bedrooms within a beautifully restored historic building, complemented by a modern, sustainable extension. Designed with comfort, dignity, and safety at its heart, Roebuck Grove House will provide residents with both privacy and community — a place to rest, rebuild, and truly belong.
